Paris' Dilemma

Artwork details: etching, 4.5 x 4.2 inches (11 x 11 cm), 2010.

The 'Paris' in question is of course Paris of Troy, who, according to legend, had to chose between the three goddesses Athena, Aphrodite and Hera, and say who best deserved the golden apple.

This closely-packed geometric arrangement of nudes took quite some time to compose. It was something of a test-piece before I launched into the more complex 'Party Animals'.
