Tea on the Lawn
Artwork details: gouache and watercolour on paper, 14.1 x 11.8 inches (36 x 30 cm), 2010.
This was painted for the 303 Gallery's summer exhibition for 2010, entitled 'Whatever the Weather'. Very English, both in its weather and in its insistence on carrying on regardless. It was supposed to have something of a 1920s feel to it. The fellow with the cigar is probably a Cad... or a Bounder.
